This smoothie is so amazingly delicious.
I love the taste, the color and it makes the perfect breakfast.
You tip from me would be to run into your kitchen to make this right now, trust me, you won’t regret it!
Lately, as spring has suddenly announced her arrival, I have really been wanting to add more colors to my foods.
Red cabbage and yellow carrots in my salads, beets in my juice, blueberries in my smoothies.. you name it.
Adding more color to your meals does not only please the eye, but it also provides you with a bunch of different nutrients (as long as you colors come from fresh whole foods that is).
This smoothie sure has both the good looking color and is packed full of nutrients and antioxidants.
I added some cinnamon to recipe because I have lately been all about sprinkling cinnamon over my sliced mango. Yum!
Anyway, over to the recipe..
- 3 bananas (preferably frozen)
- 2 mangoes
- a handful or two of blueberries
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 cup water or coconut water
Slice up the fruit and throw in a blender with the other ingredients.
Blend, pour and enjoy 🙂
